The RAK2560 WisNode Sensor Hub is a modular hub for IoT connectivity. It consists of a main module, the RAK4630 WisDuo Stamp Module, and preconfigured or third-party sensors. The main module offers LoRa/LoRaWAN and BLE 5.0 connectivity via the nRF52840 MCU and SX1262 radio chip. You can choose between LoRaWAN® or LoRaWAN®+NB-IoT for wireless connectivity. The Sensor Hub comes with temperature and humidity sensors by default, but can be expanded with other sensors via its two sensor probe ports. It features a waterproof IP66 enclosure, USB-C connector and reset button. It can be powered by an internal battery (3.7V Li-Po) or an external power supply (5V-12V DC). The Sensor Hub operates in a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C and measures 115 x 82 x 30 mm, weighing just 220 g. Configuration is easy via the WisToolBox application, available on mobile and desktop. The RAK2560 WisNode Sensor Hub is ideal for a wide range of IoT applications, including environmental monitoring, smart agriculture, smart buildings and Industry 4.0.

The RAK2560 WisNode Sensor Hub is a modular sensor ecosystem consisting of a main body and several pre-configured probes. These interchangeable, hot-pluggable probes also enable the integration of third-party sensors. These features make the Sensor Hub an ideal, adaptable platform for a wide range of IoT applications requiring environmental monitoring.

Robust, waterproof case

The Sensor Hub is housed in a rugged, waterproof case with two sensor ports. These ports enable the connection of sensors or an external power source, such as a solar panel. The device can operate with an external power supply or in full battery mode, depending on its deployment location.

Simple configuration via mobile app or desktop

Configuration of the Sensor Hub and its probes is facilitated by the WisToolBox application available on mobile and PC.
