Dracula Technologies has created LAYER®, a printed technology that generates energy from ambient light. It is based on a process for manufacturing OPV cells using digital printing.

Today, more and more connected objects are in circulation. 50 billion connected objects by 2020. That's a lot of batteries to change. To meet this challenge, a number of Energy Harvesting solutions are emerging.

Among them: LAYER "Light As Your Energetic Response", developed by Dracula Technologies. It is based on the world-renowned inkjet printing technology. By printing 5 successive layers, the result is a photovoltaic module just a few hundred nanometres thick.

This technology works with ambient light. Before printing, the inks are formulated by Dracula Technologies teams. It's a technology that respects the environment.
