The RAK3172 module is a complete, miniature solution for integrating LoRa and LoRaWAN wireless communication into your IoT devices. Based on the STM32WLE5CC chip, it offers low power consumption and extended range, ideal for applications requiring long-distance data transmission.

  • LoRaWAN 1.0.3 (Class A, B & C) compatible: The RAK3172 module supports all three classes of the LoRaWAN protocol, giving you the flexibility to optimize power consumption and transmission frequency to suit your needs.
  • Works with popular LoRaWAN server platforms: easily connect your device to platforms such as TheThingsNetwork (TTN), Chirpstack and Helium for centralized data management and analysis.
  • LoRa Point-to-Point (P2P) communication: set up a private LoRa network for direct communication between your devices without relying on a central server.
  • Versatile UART interface: The UART interface enables simple bidirectional communication with a host microcontroller, using AT and binary commands to configure and send data.
  • Customized firmware development: Thanks to RUI3 APIs (RAKwireless Unified Interface V3), you can create unique, customized functionalities for your application.
  • Variants with TCXO (Temperature-Compensated Quartz Oscillator) for greater accuracy: Some versions of the module incorporate a TCXO, offering greater clock stability in low-temperature environments.
