By integrating the decoding function in a dedicated chip rather than in a separate processor, Newland has succeeded in concentrating remarkable reading speed and performance in an ultra-compact format. At just 21.5 × 9 × 7 mm, the N1 is the slimmest solution in the range. Its sleek design offers both excellent value for money and discreet integration when space is limited.

6ᵉ generation UIMG technology.

The N1 features Newland's latest reading technology, including our new 0610 decoder. Building on its own innovations, Newland has further enhanced the engine's overall performance, with full support for all 1D, 2D and Aztec codes.

Exceptional energy efficiency.

The N1 scans, illuminates and decodes barcodes while drawing minimal power from the host device. It extends battery life compared with equivalent readers, while offering an environmentally-friendly solution. This makes it an ideal choice for portable applications.

Support for long codes.

Thanks to its wide reading angle and versatile depth of field, the N1 ensures successful reading in most situations. In particular, it excels at decoding long barcodes at short distances, a frequent requirement for ticket validation on printers and other equipment.
